This is the Buona Restaurant where it all started approximately 30 years ago. That's when the Buonavolanto family first started selling our now famous Italian Beef, other sandwiches and catering. We started with our Italian heritage, by using family favorite recipes originating from Naples, Italy and then formulating them in the Old Italian Village of Chicago to develop a truly unique Chicago Style menu. Thanks to our customers that have come back time and again, we have been able to grow not only this facility, but into what is currently 12 additional restaurants. So now we are not only easy for our customers in the Berwyn, Cicero, North Riverside, Forest Park and the near west side of Chicago (North Lawndale, 60644, 60650)– but throughout the entire Chicago area. Catering - Parties and EventsBuona has been catering since originally opening to customers' AT WORK and AT HOME functions, and is well established name as one of Chicagoland's leading event caterers. Call our helpful party planners at 708-749-2333 for menu planning, placing an order or general help. Orders can also be placed using our online option – for ordering at anytime of the day or night. We ask our customers to place catering orders by 2:00 pm the day before their event to ensure availability of all menu choices - 2:00 pm Saturday for Sunday/Monday orders. This is not possible for all our customers – so we keep enough of our customers' favorite selections on hand to work with customers to deliver a successful event. In these situations it is always important to discuss all details with our planning staff.
